Selena Gloria

Selena is the third princess of the Kingdom of Gloria, bearer of the same rare unreadable skill as Alan. Because of it, she too was deemed worthless and kept at court as a bargaining piece. Alan first meets her on the road when he saves her and her escort from Royal Orcs that the first prince was controlling.

There, embarrassed by her guard's rudeness, the princess secretly thanks her savior and gives him a ring left by her late mother. Later it emerges that she was abducted: her guard Natalia betrayed and sold her to an underground auction of noble beauties run by the crime organization 'Katō' at the first prince's prompting. Alan rescues her again, teleporting her straight off the auction block.

The turning point comes when the Reversal skill returns Selena's past-life memories: she was Alan's colleague and assistant on Earth, his secretary. Changing her sex with the same skill, she fully remembers herself, decides not to return to the palace, and takes a new name — Zig.

Her fate mirrors Alan's: a 'useless' skill, the nobility's contempt, reincarnation — and so she becomes one of his key allies and a central thread of the main plot.

Selena's arc runs through the whole narrative: rescue from the orcs, the gift of the ring, her disappearance and King Salvana's secret search, her abduction and sale at the 'Katō' auction, Alan's rescue, and finally the return of her past-life memories. Learning that Natalia betrayed her, she renounces the court and ties her fate to Alan as the self-aware reincarnator Zig.
