Buena Village

Rudeus's entire childhood — the first ten years of his new life — passed in Buena Village. Here Roxy Migurdia taught him magic, here Paul gave him swordsmanship lessons, here he befriended Sylphiette. The quiet family idyll ended abruptly: the Teleport Incident wiped the village off the face of the earth, leaving no trace of it, just as of all Fittoa.

Fortunately, at the very moment of the catastrophe Buena Village lay far from the epicenter, and part of the family survived — but the home where Rudeus grew up was gone forever.

Buena Village is a small hamlet on the very edge of the Fittoa region, the deepest of backwaters and the dreariest corner of the Asura Kingdom. Life flows quietly and slowly here: a lone guard keeps the gate until the hunters return, and the elder works honestly alongside everyone else. It was here that the former Imperial Maid Lilia settled, seeking a place far from the capital's intrigues.

In this unremarkable village the lesser knight Paul Greyrat made his family home together with his wife Zenith and the maid Lilia — and here their son Rudeus was born.
