Warlock in the World of Mages

Leylin Farlier is the protagonist of Warlock of the Magus World. In his previous life he was Fang Ming, a renowned scientist in a futuristic world who helped develop an A.I. Chip that ended up fused to his soul. After he was killed in the explosion of an energy reactor, his consciousness, memories and the Chip transmigrated into the dying body of Leylin Farlier, the gifted son of a minor noble family, whose original occupant had just been beaten to death.

Cold, meticulous and utterly pragmatic, Leylin always puts himself first. He will repay those who help him but never risks his own safety for anyone, and he does not hesitate to be cruel or to use others when it serves his goals. Charismatic and brilliant, he attracts many admirers, yet treats attachments as tools and studies the mutations of his bloodline with the same detachment he brings to everything else.

Beginning with only third-grade aptitude and a high affinity for the Dark and Shadow elements, Leylin leans on the Chip's flawless calculation and later on a Giant Kemoyin Serpent bloodline to climb the ranks far faster than his talent alone would allow. He becomes a Warlock, one of the youngest Morning Stars in history, and eventually founds the Ouroboros Clan of the main continent.

Across the saga he rises toward the pinnacle of power as a Being of Law, mastering the Laws of Space and Time, while a separate clone operates in the distant World of Gods and ascends to godhood. He accumulates dozens of titles along the way, from Kemoyin Emperor and Warlock King to Guardian of the Realm and the Nightmare King.
