Shi Feng

Shi Feng (石峰), who plays the VR game God's Domain as the character Ye Feng and is far better known by his alias Black Flame, is the protagonist of the story. In a past life he climbed to the very pinnacle of the game, but after his guild Shadow was pressured into merging with the super-guild World Dominators, he was forced to delete his level-200 character. He then awakens reincarnated to the exact moment God's Domain first launched, years in the past, and resolves to rewrite his fate.

Because of that previous-life experience, Shi Feng stays calm in almost any situation and is slow to anger. He dislikes flaunting his wealth or status, usually keeping his black cloak drawn and his equipment's glow effects switched off, though he is happy to play the proud, boastful leader when it serves to intimidate an enemy.

Knowing the game's future development, hidden dungeons, rare classes and which unknown players will become future stars, he gains an overwhelming edge over everyone else. He recruits promising talents, founds and leads the guild Zero Wing, advances along the Swordsman path to the Blade Saint class, and reaches grandmaster standard as a Forger and Magician. Over the course of the story he accumulates a long list of feared titles, from 'One-Hit Asura' to 'God's Domain's Number One Player.'
