Blackie/Level

Blackie (Chinese 黑子), who plays under the in-game name Black Cloud, is Shi Feng's university roommate and his closest friend. He is introduced in the very first chapter, when he bursts into their dorm urging Shi Feng to hurry and register for the Shadow Workshop.

Although Shi Feng judges Blackie to have little natural talent for gaming, he proves to have real ability in virtual reality and an exceptional gift for administration. In the real world he becomes the administrator of the Zero Wing Workshop, handling the guild's operations.

In God's Domain, Blackie takes the rare Cursemancer class and steadily climbs the tiers alongside the rest of Zero Wing's main force, eventually reaching the higher realms of refinement and truth as the guild grows into a dominant power.
