Zhang Ya

Zhang Ya is the first Red Specter Chen Ge obtained from the Wheel of Misfortune and one of the most powerful members of his army, reaching the rank of Demon God. In life she was a beautiful student at Western Jiujiang's Private Academy whose looks drew envy and bullying. During a training session, Zhu Xiu attempted to assault her; cornered, she leapt from a fourth-floor window and, gravely injured, suffered for hours in her own blood while no one came to help.
As a Red Specter, Zhang Ya is the complete opposite of who she was alive: cruel, unforgiving, and quick to attack anyone in her way. She wears a red dress, and her long black hair sometimes covers her face. Above all she is intensely possessive of Chen Ge and will not tolerate other women near him.
Her power is immense, letting her fight several Red Specters at once. Beyond her own ability to bind enemies with her hair, she assimilates the powers of other specters by consuming them, giving her a nearly limitless arsenal.
