This is the character who's become the single most disliked in the entire story (wry laugh).
Honestly, I never expected them to be hated this much.
In this story, the characters who draw hate are all villains, and they get taken out right away.
I try to avoid the common approach of having them escape and drag things out.
Partly because I personally can't stand that kind of thing.
So I never imagined a character who isn't even an enemy would rack up this much hate.
That said, I can't just leave them out entirely.
They won't appear often going forward, but they'll show up from time to time.

Peach-colored, fluffy hair tied in a side tail, with matching eyes. A Rank II delver.
● Personality:
Partner of Siegs, a Rank I delver known as the "Six-Attribute User."
She has her hands full dealing with his rather laid-back nature.
A capable individual who became a delver at age 10 as a special exception, reaching Rank II in just four years.
She considers herself the older sister to Mineha, who is younger, but she's completely floored when they reunite.
Deep down she's worried about her, but she can't bring herself to be honest about it.

A retainer to the knight commander of the 'Delver Knights'.
Speaks in a distinctive manner, adding a question mark to the end of sentences: "So? That's how it is?"
Due to her narrow eyes and introverted personality, people around her find her hard to approach.
She enjoys deep trust from the knight commander, Piani. Seems to be acquainted with Pakira in some capacity.

Author's note: With her unique way of speaking, she's the most low-maintenance yet troublesome person there is. Tough to write.
Cat-people are hard to use in the story. They're refugees from a destroyed nation.
But I thought having only Pakira wasn't quite enough, so I went ahead and included her.
Her speech pattern is difficult, so I don't want to bring her in too often.

145 years old. Elf. Female.
Vivid blue hair with pale green eyes. Brown skin. Her ears are long and pointed.
Wears a blue military-style outfit. Carries a matched pair of white swords, one large and one small.
Possesses a trained, crystalline kind of beauty.
●Personality:
Apprentice of the First-Class Delver known as "Sword of Swords."
Serious and devoted exclusively to the sword. Particularly beautiful even among elves, but completely unconcerned about it.
Since her master is a dog, he sometimes wanders off on his own, which causes her no end of trouble.
Because her master is a dog, she often handles things on his behalf, such as accepting quests.
Her master is a dog, but she respects him from the bottom of her heart.
She detests Kaede-Machina—someone who tries to get close to that master—like a venomous serpent.

So that's how this character came to be.
It seems like having a dog as a master who does whatever she pleases must have been pretty tough.
But she probably considers all that hardship part of her training, too.
