Divine Body
Descrição
The Divine Body is the true form of a god: the existence that replaces a deity's mortal body upon full ascension within the World of Gods. It is not a biological body but a form composed entirely of divine force — infinitely mutable, cosmically resilient and permanently attuned to the god's domain and nature. It is the World of Gods' counterpart to the Magus World's Body of Law, both representing a physical transcendence of mortality.
It manifests as a complete transformation at the moment a deity establishes their Divine Domain and claims a Divine Kingdom. If a god descends to the material plane, the Divine Body is suppressed and they operate merely as a Legendary; its full expression belongs to the outer planes and divine kingdoms. It grants physical mutability, immunity to hostile environments, planar travel, comprehension of all languages, epic resistance to physical and magical harm, and immunity to spells below rank 9.
Crucially, the Divine Body is sustained by divine force drawn from a god's faith base and domain, so it weakens if worshippers are lost or a domain is seized — a vulnerability that sets gods apart from self-sustaining Beings of Law. Leylin's clone acquires a Divine Body on reaching Demigod status, but routes it through the A.I. Chip, so a collapse of his faith would cost only an auxiliary function rather than threaten his existence.
