John Wesley is one of the central supporting characters of Throne of Magical Arcana, remembered for his transformation from an impetuous boy into a dedicated knight. Blond and fair, he hails from Aderon, the poorest district of Aalto, and is the son of Joel and Alisa Wesley - making him the cousin of Lucien Evans, with whom he shares an unbreakable bond.
His hard-working family saved to fund his training as a knight squire under Lord Venn. Embracing the knightly code of protecting the weak and fighting for justice, John repeatedly risked his standing to defend those he loved - most notably confronting Jackson Riodors' gang after Lucien was attacked. A key turning point came when, with Lucien's help, he obtained Moonlight Rose dust to awaken the Blessing, setting him on the path to becoming a full knight.
Mature, responsible and unwavering in his sense of justice, John openly admitted that his drive to protect stemmed from love for his family rather than pure ideals - a truth Lucien affirmed rather than condemned. Rising to become a Level-five Grand Knight, deputy captain of the Sword of Truth's Knights and eventually an Earl serving Queen Natasha, he remains the loyal protector at Lucien's side. His creed: "For Justice."
