The Tang Sect was an organisation specialising in assassination through hidden weapons, poisons and lightness (agility) skills. In his previous life, Tang San was one of its outer-sect disciples who secretly mastered even its forbidden inner arts.
Carrying that knowledge into the world of spirit masters, Tang San reintroduces the Tang Sect's hidden-weapon craft and techniques. The name endures as a cornerstone of the wider Soul Land saga, re-founded within this new world and inherited by later generations.
