A Igreja dos Três Heróis

The Church of the Three Heroes (also called the Three Heroes Church) was the former national religion of Melromarc and one of the main antagonistic forces early in the story. A heretical offshoot of the Four Saints Faith, it worships the Sword, Spear, and Bow Heroes as divine while branding the Shield Hero a devil bent on destroying the world.

Its doctrine underpins Melromarc's discrimination against demi-humans and deliberately erases any positive account of the Shield Hero. Deeply entrenched and fanatically conservative, the Church spread the false accusations against Naofumi and staged fake Shield Heroes to blacken his name.

Led by High Priest Biscas T. Balmus and backed by nobles, King Aultcray, and Malty, the Church schemed to seize control of Melromarc. Its plots ultimately collapse when Naofumi exposes its agenda, after which the faith is abandoned by the public.
