A.I. Chip

The A.I. Chip is an advanced, intelligent microchip carried over from Leylin's previous life as the scientist Fang Ming. It holds a vast database of knowledge from that futuristic world — science, technology, history and more — giving Leylin access to learning far beyond anything available in the Magus World.

In Fang Ming's original world these chips were purely material tools used for data storage and analysis; because of concerns over human rights and consciousness, they possessed no intelligence of their own. When Leylin transmigrated, however, the Chip fused with his soul, and everything it analysed and stored became part of his own memory and abilities.

Its functions are effectively cheat-like: rapid data analysis, precise calculation and deduction, and the ability to steady or suppress emotion so Leylin can act with perfect composure. It is his single greatest advantage, quietly guiding almost every decision he makes.
