White Tiger is a former stray cat adopted by Chen Ge who now lives at his Haunted House as its resident cat and lucky charm. She is a snow-white cat with soft, luscious fur and uniquely colored eyes — one red and one blue.
Chen Ge first met her in an alley where boys were pelting a corner with rocks and bottles. Inside a broken box hid a wounded white cat that fiercely guarded four kittens to the end, though the kittens had sadly already died. When one boy's father tried to finish her off with a brick, Chen Ge stepped in and scared him away.
Naming her was no easy task: the cat rejected suggestions like 'Night Rain', 'Fortune', 'Snow', and others, and only because of her fierce temperament, 'wild as a tiger', did Chen Ge settle on the name White Tiger.
