Ling Long

Ling Long, better known as Silvermoon (Xue Ling), is an artifact spirit who was released from the Heavenvoid Cauldron. Originally a Heavenly Silvermoon Wolf, she deliberately chose Han Li as the owner of the Jade Sceptre, rejecting other candidates. Unable to recall her own name, she took the name Silvermoon, remembering only her origins.
By devouring the soul of a Four-Pupiled Fox demon she obtained a body and could speak with Han Li directly. She later transferred her soul into his prized flying swords and became his trusted partner, acting on her own initiative — in her fox form she slipped into restricted areas and stole treasures from under the noses of Nascent Soul cultivators.
Following Han Li back to the Kunwu Mountain range, she came face to face with her distant past. Merging with Long Meng to become Ling Long, she fought the devil Yuan Cha for control of her own wolf body, once again standing at Han Li's side in the decisive battle.
