Dong Su Zhu

Dong Su Zhu is Yang Kai's mother, said to have an extremely youthful and lively appearance, like a beautiful twenty-eight-year-old, and as her cultivation advances she seems to grow younger still.
She has a doting, motherly nature she never loses. She hates but understands Yang Kai's long absences, and tends to pout for a while after his return. It is noted that many of Yang Kai's own defining traits, his kindness to loved ones and ruthlessness to enemies, largely stem from her parenting.
Like her husband, she follows her son from world to world, living a sheltered life and almost never joining battle. She is first seen in tears before the Inheritance War, vainly trying to dissuade her son, and later meets and warmly welcomes his companions.
