Belinda

Belinda appears in chapters 714–726 as a young representative of the Sinister Eyes cult, acting under the orders of a fifth-level priest whose power is comparable to that of a Bright Moon-rank Magus. Leylin knows her under the fictitious name of Nik: a slight compliment is enough to make the girl blush instantly, and her fixed attention on the white scales on his face betrays a mixture of curiosity and naive fascination that the protagonist gladly exploits as cover. Nevertheless, Belinda is by no means harmless: she behaves with arrogance and a vengeful spirit, personally confronting Governor Iayas at their second encounter and reminding him that the previous time he let slip the chance to finish her off. Through her accounts, Leylin discovers for the first time the leader of the cult and his true level of power, which makes the young woman a valuable source of information about the enemy and the link that connects him to the dark faction of the Sinister Eyes.
