The Atlan Union is the dominant political, military, and cultural superpower of the Atlan World (also known as the Lava World), a vast plane where the fire element predominates and which is ruled by the Emberwing avian race. As the unified government of the Fire Crown—the largest continent in the world—the Union commands military forces capable of waging wars against elemental empires, regulates the world's most valuable resource (firasource stones), and maintains a strict hierarchy based on bloodline purity and cultivation of the fire element.
