This was a wasteland, where a kind of red grass with serrated edges filled the cracks of the rocks, bearing strange patterns that resembled human faces.
Drop by drop, black rain formed from the fissures in the ground, then rapidly rose upward, vanishing into the sky to create thin threads of rainfall.
The rain here was black — and it fell upward.
"In that case, I'll name this place the 'Black Rain' World. I didn't expect to be this lucky this time — finding an unguarded extra-dimensional plane that no one else has discovered..."
A dark-gold spiritual power seed hung beside a stalk of the red serrated grass, emitting spiritual power fluctuations to scan everything in its vicinity, accompanied by a mental sigh.
"If Duke
A complete extra-dimensional plane represented an inexhaustible supply of top-tier resources, along with a wealth of extra-dimensional knowledge — enough to make even Morning Star Wizards green with envy.
A plane like this one, which clearly bore signs of life and was habitable, was especially precious. Leilin believed that if Duke Gilbert had found it, he would have already torn open the Astral Gate regardless of cost and forced his way in.
But for Leilin in his current state, all of that was far too premature.
What he had opened was merely a spiritual power channel — not even solid objects could be transmitted through it, let alone his physical body. That kind of thing was the domain of the Astral Gate, still far beyond his reach.
"Had this not been a seed forged from crystallized spiritual power, it would have dissipated long ago. But even now, it's only buying a little extra time..."
The golden spiritual power seed's glow was exceedingly faint, especially in this environment. It looked as though it could wink out at any moment.
"Right now I can only transmit information, so the most valuable things to me here would be the world's coordinates, high-level Meditation Methods, or documents on other paths of power..."
Leilin was desperately hoping that some high-energy creature would come along and carry the seed away.
After all, it was just a spiritual power seed — if it dissipated, it dissipated. But if he could strike a deal with whoever found it, the gains would be tremendous.
Even a simple exchange of information would be of great benefit to him in his current situation.
The ancient Wizards had built their glory by studying and imitating the paths of other worlds. If Leilin wished to restore that ancient splendor, he would inevitably need to walk that same road once more.
"The world coordinates cannot be located!"
Leilin furrowed his brow. Through the link maintained by the
"To transmit spiritual power coordinates, one method is to directly project a substantial positioning marker over there. As long as that marker isn't destroyed, it can continuously emit information waves, from which the coordinate position can be deduced. But that's obviously not viable right now!"
Leilin furrowed his brow.
How enormous were the profits of an entire world? Enough to drive Morning Star Wizards mad! Even Dawn Star Wizards would grow envious enough to make a move! And the prerequisite for obtaining all of that was the world's coordinates.
The calculation method for this kind of coordinate was extremely complex. It wasn't something you could obtain the instant a spiritual power seed was projected over — it required a series of precise and complex calculations, and also needed cooperation from the spiritual power seed within that world.
But Leilin's current spiritual power seed clearly couldn't hold out for that long.
The fact that he'd managed to reach the Black Rain World this time was obviously pure chance, and it couldn't happen again.
"There's another method — to deceive the local intelligent natives into building something like an altar, which would actually be a coordinate transmitter. Then I could confirm it from my end..."
Once the coordinates were locked down, the Black Rain World wouldn't be going anywhere.
The terrifying ability to relocate an entire world — Leilin had never even heard of such a thing in mythology.
Furthermore, there was no guardian. Leilin's spiritual power seed hadn't been destroyed before even reaching the World Membrane, which meant the Black Rain World had no Wizards above the Radiant Moon level. At most, their strongest combat power was Morning Star-tier — they practically had no defensive capability at all!
"What I need most right now is time..." Leilin smiled bitterly. His spiritual power seed in the Black Rain World had no way to replenish itself and was on the verge of dissipating entirely.
Once it dissipated, his investment in this endeavor would be a total loss. How could he accept that?
A one-in-ten-thousand chance of discovering a world — that wasn't something you stumbled upon easily. The Destiny Gold Coin was already so damaged that it couldn't be used again unless it was absolutely critical!
And just at that moment, Leilin's brow twitched.
"There's a discovery!"
……
At the same time, in the Black Rain World, on the grassland where Leilin's spiritual power seed had landed, two dark-green humanoid creatures appeared.
These two creatures barely qualified as humanoid — they had vaguely human torsos and two legs, though their bodies were covered in a kind of scale, and their eyes were blood-red with vertical slits.
Their arms were even more terrifying: one side had four arms, the other had three, and there were horn-like protrusions on their heads.
"Since they have so many arms, let's call them the 'Multi-Arm Tribe'!" Leilin named these alien races without a shred of politeness, adopting the air of a conqueror.
These two Multi-Arm Tribe members were gathering a type of green fruit while chatting about something, speaking in a language that Leilin couldn't understand at all. Their speech didn't come from their throats either — instead, it was transmitted through the horn-like protrusions on their heads, broadcasting information packets that resembled radio waves.
But even after being captured by Leilin, he still couldn't make sense of it.
"Detected extraplanar language data. Recording!" the Chip faithfully reported.
Every method of communication had its own practicality and universality. As long as there were enough samples, deciphering it was only a matter of time.
At this moment, Leilin also discovered that the physical strength of these two alien beings was terrifyingly great — it even surpassed that of some first-tier high-energy creatures.
"If this isn't the average level for this world, then this race's combat power must be frightfully high…"
Leilin sighed, then still issued the command to activate the Spiritual Power Seed.
"Greetings!" A burst of information, spoken in the Ancient Byron Language and projected through Spiritual Power, was sent directly into the minds of the two Multi-Arm Tribe members.
"P!" "!"
The two Multi-Arm Tribe members were clearly terrified by the voice that had suddenly appeared in their heads. They each stumbled back two steps, raising their guard immediately.
"The Ancient Byron Language is the language of rules, the lingua franca of other worlds — I didn't expect it to be useless here!"
Leilin sighed. The Wizards of the ancient era had indeed conquered numerous extraplanar dimensions and forcibly imposed their language and writing upon them, but the number of other worlds was as vast as the stars in the sky. It was only natural that a few had been missed.
"It's about to dissipate anyway — any change is better than no change at all!"
Hum~ Under Leilin's control, the dark gold Spiritual Power Seed began to tremble, radiating a hazy, shimmering glow.
This anomaly quickly caught the attention of the other two Multi-Arm Tribe members.
They gathered around the dark gold Spiritual Power Seed, pointing and gesturing. Once they determined that the dark gold seed posed no threat, they began arguing among themselves.
In the end, one of the Multi-Arm Tribe members seemed to have convinced their companion. Carefully wrapping the now somewhat translucent Spiritual Power Seed in a piece of white beast hide, they cradled it gently and then sprinted off at full speed in a particular direction.
Wind howled on both sides as the scenery blurred into distorted streaks, prompting Leilin to reassess the strength of this Multi-Arm Tribe once again.
After several dozen minutes, the two Multi-Arm Tribe members brought Leilin to an enormous tribal settlement.
Judging by its appearance, this tribe was extremely primitive. There were few structures, all constructed from large, rough-hewn boulders, giving the settlement a starkly rugged aesthetic.
The numerous Multi-Arm Tribe members came and went throughout the settlement, calling out greetings when they spotted the two who were escorting Leilin.
"Leaving aside the elderly and children, the Multi-Arm Tribe members here seem to come in only two body types!"
Leilin certainly wasn't going to pass up the opportunity. He carefully observed everything about the settlement and quickly made a discovery.
The Multi-Arm Tribe members here came in two distinct forms. One type had three arms on the left side and four on the right, while the other was the exact opposite — four arms on the right and only three on the left. This second type tended to be somewhat larger in build, with tougher scales covering their bodies.
In Leilin's assessment, the difference was most likely due to gender.
The two Multi-Arm Tribe members accompanying him appeared to hold fairly high standing within the tribe. They led Leilin forward through the settlement without pause, eventually arriving before an enormous cave entrance.
"Hmm? Here?" Leilin said, a note of wariness in his voice.
From inside the cave, he could clearly sense a concentration of energy particles, indicating the presence of a spellcaster. There were even fluctuations resembling those of a Wizard Array, though the style was quite different from what one would find in the Wizard World.
Outside the cave entrance, numerous materials were hung on display — some derived from animals, others from the roots, fruits, and various parts of plants.
"It seems I've been brought to the dwelling of some sort of shaman or tribal chief. Well, that's not necessarily bad — such figures tend to have a broader perspective..."
The two Multi-Arm Tribe members first performed a devout kowtow outside the cave, then began shouting loudly.
"Sknglk..." An echoing voice drifted out from within the cave.
The two immediately set down the beast hide bundle containing Leilin on the ground, bowed respectfully once more, and then departed.
The moment that voice reached Leilin's ears, he felt a jolt of shock.
"Morning Star!!! There's actually a Morning Star-level creature here!"
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Enormous footsteps shook the ground, and then a Multi-Arm Tribe member fully twice the size of the others strode into view before Leilin.
It looked down at Leilin, a sharp gleam flashing through its blood-red eyes, and in one swift motion seized him in its grip before vanishing into the cave.
