Nightmare Demon Pot
Description
The Nightmare Demon Pot is a mysterious artifact found in the Dark Ruins near Glory City, a black jade pot with a translucent, gem-like shine. It dates back to the Snow Wind Empire era and is said to have come from an ancient tribe. Nie Li wins it at the Hong Yue auction house, where the Alchemy Association's director, Yang Xin, secures it for him against a mysterious grey-robed bidder.
Its primary known use is refining demon spirits: feeding in ten demon spirits of the same attribute gives a chance of forming a stronger, or even rare, demon spirit, at the risk of destroying them all. As Nie Li uses it, the pot absorbs a little power from each refinement and grows steadily stronger, its failure rate dropping. He uses it to secretly create god-level growth-rate demon spirits for himself, his friends, and later for sale.
When he refines dragon-bloodline demon spirits inside it, the pot reacts strangely, glowing scarlet and forming a winged-dragon pattern as it upgrades. Pouring his energy into it, Nie Li discovers a huge inner space holding an ocean of boundless Heavenly Energy, and it is within that space that he gains the enlightenment to reach the Heavenly Fate Realm.
