Description
Bibi Dong is the Supreme Pontiff, the highest authority of Spirit Hall and the principal antagonist of the first Soul Land arc. Wielding the Death Spider Emperor martial soul — later the Soul Devouring Spider Emperor — she commands a full set of spirit bones and terrifying power.
Her past is one of bitter suffering, including a lost young love with Yu Xiaogang that the previous Pontiff forced apart. She raises Hu Liena as if she were her own daughter and grooms her as a disciple.
She eventually founds and crowns herself Empress of the Spirit Empire, becoming its first and last ruler. Because Tang San holds her responsible for his mother's fate, the two become implacable enemies.
