Ren Amaki

Ren Amaki is the sixteen-year-old wielder of the Legendary Sword and the youngest of the Four Legendary Heroes. He has short black hair and blue eyes, and comes from a futuristic version of Japan where he initially treats the new world like one of his VRMMO games.
A self-styled cool loner, he runs his party like a guild and struggles to cooperate with others, though he is more reasonable than Motoyasu or Itsuki and initially less hostile toward Naofumi. His arrogance about his own strength, however, grows into a serious flaw.
Deceived by Malty, Ren unlocks the cursed Greed and Gluttony weapon series and goes berserk. After being defeated and brought to his senses, he sheds his cool persona, takes responsibility for his mistakes, and becomes a sincere, humble ally who trains to grow stronger the right way.
