Glass' World is the tentative name for the world on the far side of the dimensional rifts that is being forced to fuse with Raphtalia's World by the Waves of Calamity — a merging that threatens to destroy one of the two worlds.
Its culture blends elements reminiscent of pre-war Japan and modern Germany, and it is technologically more advanced than Raphtalia's World, with replicated teleportation crystals and other devices. Its Heroes command less reverence there, and some rulers even imprison them.
The world is home to the semi-transparent Spirit People — a race whose life force, magic, and soul power are fused into a single 'energy' — among them the Vassal-weapon wielder Glass. To save their dying world, its Heroes are driven to attack the Heroes of Raphtalia's World.
