Alice Straf is a magus with blonde hair and blue eyes whom Linley first meets and rescues from a magical beast while leaving the Mountain Range of Magical Beasts. A Rank 4 earth-style magus living in Fenlai City, she grows close to Linley over time and the two fall in love, meeting for two days at the end of each month.
Alice, however, held a coldly opportunistic view of the world. She abandoned Linley for Kalan of the wealthy Debs Clan, choosing his fortune and higher bloodline. The rejection devastated Linley — he vomited blood and walled off his heart for the next decade, until Delia finally thawed it.
Linley immortalized her in the sculpture "Awakening From the Dream," which inadvertently exposed their past romance and ruined her hopes of marrying Kalan as his primary wife. When tragedy struck at her wedding during the Apocalypse Day, Linley nonetheless rescued her and sent her to safety with the Proulx Gallery's fleeing group, where she later rebuilt her life.
