Despite his shock, Shi Feng didn't slow down. He turned into a blur and rushed toward the Heart of the Titan placed in the center, immediately activating the Eye of Observation on the Dark Mime.

"Unknown?" Shi Feng was startled.

The display showed nothing besides the Dark Mime — just question marks across the board…

Only two possibilities could explain this. Either the target was equipped with a high-level disguise item, or their strength was so overwhelming that ordinary observation skills couldn't read it.

Clearly, it was the latter.

Dark Mimes — in Shi Feng's memory, they were an incredibly mysterious group of creatures. They always wore clown outfits adorned with tiny bells, neither truly human nor truly living beings, yet each one was extraordinarily powerful. They could appear anywhere at will, coming and going without a trace. Even the royal palace of the Star Moon Kingdom could be entered and exited with ease.

But that was the least of it. Shi Feng had once witnessed a Tier 3 Archdruid NPC fall at the hands of a Dark Mime. Their methods of attack were simply unbelievable — impossible to guard against.

"Despicable human, how dare you break in here." The Dark Mime's face was wrapped in black cloth, revealing a pair of eyes glowing crimson. Though no anger could be seen on its face, its tone was agitated beyond measure.

Streams of blue-green energy were being absorbed by the Dark Mime, clearly reaching some critical stage — which was why it couldn't act.

This was precisely the opening Shi Feng needed. If he could interrupt this absorption ritual, he could seriously wound the Dark Mime. Otherwise, once this critical period passed, the creature would be capable of killing even a Tier 3 Archdruid — dispatching him with nothing more than a wave of its hand.

"Cyber, get rid of him. Now!" the Dark Mime urged.

Shi Feng smiled faintly. Seeing the Dark Mime in such a rush only strengthened his resolve to disrupt the ritual. As for the hellhound behind it, it was still bound by chains and wouldn't make it in time.

Slash!

Shi Feng put every ounce of strength into the swing. His wrist twisted, producing a sharp crack, and the Abyssal shot forward as a streak of black light, piercing straight toward the Heart of the Titan's absorption magic circle.

Clang!

The ever-unstoppable Magic Artifact, the Abyssal, was deflected by the barrier of the magic circle, scattering a brilliant arc of white light. It hadn't damaged the absorption circle in the slightest.

"Pitiful human, a measly Swordsman like you thinks he can break my magic circle? You'd be better off giving up and becoming Cyber's meal. Perhaps then I'll release your soul. Otherwise, prepare for endless agony after death," the Dark Mime threatened.

The hellhound was already charging over.

"A pint-sized clown dares run his mouth. You think I have no way to deal with you?" Shi Feng scoffed, pulling a dark gray magic scroll from his inventory.

"No!"

"You've gone completely mad! Do you even know what you're doing?"

The moment the Dark Mime saw the dark gray scroll, it let out a startled shriek.

"So you've got good taste after all. Worst case, we all die together." Shi Feng had no desire to use this, but his life was on the line — he wasn't about to quibble over details. He unfurled the scroll and began reciting the activation incantation.

This was one of only three Tier 2 magic scrolls he possessed — Annihilation Deluge, capable of devouring all magical elements and reducing them to nothingness. It was a top-tier Tier 2 magic scroll.

In an instant, the magical elements within the central barrier surged and grew violently unstable before continuously breaking down.

The absorption magic circle was composed of magical elements, so it was no exception — it too collapsed and exploded.
