The War God Temple, an organization founded after the Great Destruction, had existed for several thousand years. Its mission was to protect the entire human continent from invasions by other races.
Events like the opening of the Abyss and incursions by foreign races were handled by the War God Temple — no single nation could deal with them alone.
Additionally, any melee class wishing to learn advanced skills could come here to pick up quests. Upon completion, they would be able to learn the skills.
As soon as Shi Feng arrived at the War God Temple, he reported the situation to the Commander of the Guardian Knights.
The War God Temple was one of the most powerful forces in the Divine Realm. Even an ordinary Guardian Knight was a Level 180 Tier 2 class, while the Commander of the Guardian Knights was a Level 200 Tier 3 professional.
"Lord Black Flame, this matter is of great importance. However, I must immediately issue a city-wide alert and mobilize troops to the front lines. I'll have to trouble you to go to the Royal City's War God Temple and report this to Lord Ukarus, requesting his aid." After hearing Shi Feng's report, the Commander of the Guardian Knights looked extremely anxious. He handed Shi Feng a golden token and promptly walked out.
Shi Feng was rendered speechless. This Guardian Knight Commander was way too impulsive and did things his own way.
But the report was already made. Next, he just needed to go to the Royal City and find this Ukarus. The task seemed easy enough.
Shi Feng then left the War God Temple and headed toward White River City's teleportation hall.
The moment he stepped into the teleportation hall, he saw six towering players blocking the stone staircase, completely sealing off the passage.
All six of them were Level 18, placing them firmly among the top tier of players. Their equipment was also excellent — most of it Mythril Rank. The one in the lead, a solemn and dignified middle-aged man, had the best gear of all: a full set of Mythril Rank equipment. His sharp gaze cut like a blade, and his entire being radiated a cold, vicious aura. Other players instinctively gave them a wide berth, not daring to look directly at them.
Though no blows had been exchanged, Shi Feng could sense that these six were extraordinarily skilled. A squad like this was rare even across all of White River City.
On each of their chests hung a black hexagram emblem — the guild insignia of the Dark Star Guild.
"What can I do for you?" Shi Feng asked.
"You must be Black Flame. My name is Mingsha, and I'm affiliated with the Netherworld. I'm not here for any trouble — just to deliver some good news." The middle-aged man in front spoke down from his lofty height.
Though Black Flame was known as the foremost blacksmith of the Star Moon Kingdom, in Mingsha's eyes, he was nothing more than a buffoon.
Whether in reality or in the Divine Realm, only power truly mattered.
A man who could only bury his head in forging was nothing more than a tool for the strong.
If the guild headquarters hadn't stirred up the upper echelons of the Netherworld, he wouldn't have come here at all.
What he was truly interested in was Yefeng — the swordsman hailed as a god-level expert. He really wanted to test himself against him. Moreover, Young Master Feng had given orders: Yefeng must be eliminated, and the epic-grade item in his possession must be seized.
But somehow, it seemed the information had leaked. No matter how many people they sent out, they couldn't find this Yefeng. It frustrated him greatly. He hadn't expected that Yefeng was nothing but a coward who didn't even have the courage to fight.
"Good news? Why does it feel more like you're here with ill intentions?" Shi Feng glanced at the other five, who all looked menacing, and gave a cold smile.
"Master Black Flame, forgive our rashness. But we truly do have tremendous news for you. It's just that — we're wondering if you'd be willing to come with us. After all, this isn't the best place to talk."
