"Kalur has fallen. We won."
"What kind of skill was that? It was terrifying."
The surviving members stared at Kalur's charred remains and couldn't help but swallow hard. The move Shi Feng had used was completely unheard of—as if what he'd swung wasn't a sword but a miniature sun. Even from more than thirty yards away, the searing heat made their skin sting and burn.
The damage Shi Feng dealt was even more staggering. Not a single one of his six hits dealt fewer than two thousand points of damage, and two of them had crit for over four thousand. None of them had ever seen such a powerful skill before.
Ci Xin's jaw dropped when he saw it. He knew Shi Feng was strong, but he hadn't expected this level of power.
Silent Broken Sword was stunned as well.
He had thought there was no way they could clear this, yet Shi Feng had pulled out this trick—blasting the Level 12 Grand Leader Kalur clean off his feet and instantly dealing over ten thousand points of damage. It was without a doubt the highest damage output he had ever witnessed. Silent Broken Sword's gaze toward Shi Feng grew even more fervent, and he wished he could drag the man into his guild right then and there.
Mu Qing reacted quickly too, recognizing that this was the perfect moment to get closer to Shi Feng. She walked up to him and, feigning excitement, grabbed his hand.
"Brother Ye Feng, that was incredible! What skill is that? I've never seen anything like it," Mu Qing said softly, looking up at Shi Feng with her long lashes fluttering, a hint of adoration in her eyes. Her delicate, petite figure stirred a protective urge in anyone who saw her.
"Flame Burst. It's a universal special skill available to all classes." Shi Feng felt the warm, soft hand gripping his but didn't think much of it—he figured Mu Qing was simply caught up in the excitement. He answered casually.
"A special skill? That's such a shame. I was hoping you could take me along to farm for one." Mu Qing's shoulders slumped at his answer. Special skills were things you stumbled upon by chance, not something you could go out and actively hunt for. Then again, it made sense—if such a powerful skill were easy to obtain, it wouldn't be special.
"Let's check the drops," Shi Feng said with a smile, noticing her disappointment.
His reminder snapped everyone back to reality. The one lying dead before them was Grand Leader Kalur—the drops had to be generous. They had simply been too stunned by Shi Feng's attack to remember.
The healer began resurrecting the fallen companions. Once everyone was back on their feet, Silent Broken Sword started collecting the loot.
Kalur had dropped a total of five pieces of equipment, all Iron Rank—two to three more pieces than a boss in a ten-person dungeon would typically yield. There was a Level 10 great shield, a Level 10 Ranger longbow, a Level 10 Berserker chest armor set, a Level 10 healing staff, and a Level 10 Swordsman chest armor set. Each person also received thirty-two copper coins—a decent haul.
Since Shi Feng already had a prior agreement with the Assassin Alliance, the Wind Perishing chest armor went straight to him. The remaining equipment was distributed based on class and damage contribution.
Wind Perishing, Plate Chest Armor. Iron Rank, Level 10. Class restriction: Swordsman. Defense +83. Strength +7, Agility +10, Endurance +6. Part of the Wind Perishing Set (1/6).
Wind Perishing Set: Two-piece bonus—damage increased by 10%. Four-piece bonus—attack speed and movement speed increased by 15%. Six-piece bonus—effective level +3, and attacks have a 15% chance to deal an additional 50 points of damage for 20 seconds.
The Wind Perishing Set represented a qualitative leap in both stats and set bonuses. If someone could complete the full set right now, it would absolutely be top-tier equipment—though putting the whole thing together wouldn't be easy.
After obtaining the Wind Perishing chest armor, Shi Feng didn't rush to equip it. Swapping it out now would mean losing the Silver Moon set's bonuses. He planned to wait until he had three or four pieces before making the switch.
With the equipment distributed, the group pressed on toward the next boss.
Since Shui Bo had picked up a Level 10 Iron Rank shield, his defense and HP had received a substantial boost. Clearing trash mobs along the way was effortless—in less than ten minutes, they arrived at an arena-style hall.
Standing in the arena was a half-orc assassin named Molok, the second boss of the Orc Armory.
Molok, Grand Leader, Level 12, 400,000 HP.
His HP might seem low, but that only meant he was harder to deal with. Unlike Kalur, Molok was an assassin—elusive and unpredictable in battle. He would casually ignore aggro and possessed three skills that left players at their wit's end.
The first skill was Armor Break. Each attack stacked an armor-breaking debuff, and for plate-wearing classes, that was devastating. Once the stacks reached ten, defense would drop to zero. The implications went without saying—even a main tank with two thousand HP would fall in two or three hits. Combined with an assassin's fast attack speed, the healer might not even have time to add a heal before the tank was already dead.
The only saving grace was that Armor Break didn't last long—only thirty seconds. As long as someone took over aggro when the stacks hit five, they could manage.
The second skill was Killing Feast. Molok would instantly unleash a total of sixteen attacks on all enemies within an eight-yard radius. During this time, Molok was invincible, and the sixteen strikes landed fast—completing in just two seconds. If he activated it with only two main tanks nearby, both of them were guaranteed to die. Spreading the damage across more targets was necessary, placing enormous pressure on the healers.
The third skill was Vanish. Molok would randomly ambush a single player. If that player was wearing cloth armor, they were virtually dead—only plate wearers had any hope of surviving Molok's ambush.
Just as everyone turned to Shi Feng, hoping to hear his strategy, he didn't explain the approach outright. Instead, he had one healer and two main tanks go test Molok's mechanics first—otherwise, it would be hard to justify his strategy.
After a few trial runs, Shi Feng finally explained the initial approach. It was actually quite simple: all plate-wearing classes would serve as tanks, rotating in and out. Molok's base attack power wasn't particularly high—it only became dangerous once the Armor Break stacks accumulated. So during the early phases, any plate-wearing class could tank his hits.
The same principle applied to Killing Feast.
In short, handling this boss came down to one thing: gang up on him.
Eight minutes later, the second boss Molok also fell—mainly because Shi Feng was too powerful.
Molok had been almost entirely solo-tanked by Shi Feng, whose evasion was so agile that Molok rarely landed a hit.
However, this also meant Shi Feng's damage output took a significant hit.
With such a stable tank in Shi Feng, the healers had it easy, making the fight far simpler for everyone. Only when facing Molok's Vanish did the unlucky cloth-wearing players have nothing to do but curse their fate.
