According to Leilin's understanding, physique represented both defensive power and recovery capability.
And his current physique of 74.9 was already a terrifying figure approaching that of ancient creatures.
With his current body, ordinary first-tier and second-tier wizard spells couldn't even break through his defenses. Even third-tier spells would only cause minor injuries that would heal almost immediately.
The self-healing ability brought by his astonishing physique was absolutely terrifying.
After completing his full check, Leilin nodded with great satisfaction.
"With my current body strength, even if the seal on the Multi-Arm Force suddenly shattered, it would be enough to hold for a very long time. And next, if I can obtain the title of Sage and receive the gift of the Mystic Energy Scepter, then the aftereffects of the Spiritual Power surge should be essentially resolved!"
The
Even though it was the domain of the Sky Throne, and venturing there as a warlock might bring trouble, this was already the easiest method the Chip had identified.
Secret arts capable of enhancing Morning Star physique, along with body-tempering magical arrays, were extremely rare across the entire Central Continent.
And Leilin himself was a warlock whose foundational abilities were already too strong, which made things even more troublesome.
The Chip had synthesized all of Leilin's knowledge and experience, along with the vast database within the Ouroboros Ring, and the three methods it proposed were already the best available options.
But for the first method — the transformation magical array — Leilin still had no leads. He only knew from some mythology that it was located within certain ruins somewhere in the Central Continent.
For Leilin, taking such a risky expedition to explore ruins was simply too troublesome. It would certainly involve immense danger.
As for the third method, he had just experienced it, and there was no way to repeat it in the short term. Not only would it produce no effect, but it would also cause undesirable side effects.
Therefore, Leilin's most reasonable choice was the second option: the Sky City and the Mystic Energy Scepter.
Of course, Leilin was quite confident about his trip. He was currently at the peak of Morning Star — someone who could escape from a fifth-rank Radiant Moon's grasp. Ordinary enemies wouldn't dare provoke him.
And the two Sun Child bloodline marks on his person gave him ample confidence!
Sky City was the stronghold of the Sky Throne, and they surely wouldn't want a sixth-rank battle erupting there!
"Besides, I've never provoked the Sky Throne. I just need to be careful of Jupiter's Thunder, and that should be enough…"
Leilin stroked his chin, lost in thought.
…
Several days later, the outer perimeter of the Phosphorescent Swamp.
A sleek, teardrop-shaped private airship, entirely black in color, surged into the sky. In just a few minutes, it vanished beyond the horizon.
On top of the tower, several figures watched the airship rise and float away until it disappeared from sight.
"Relax, Furi!"
"That's right! Leilin is very strong. We just need to handle the Ouroboros Ring's affairs properly!"
"You both are too kind!" Furi gave a slight bow, but the worry in her eyes had not fully dissipated.
After all, Leilin was heading to the territory of the Sky Throne this time. If something happened… Furi didn't dare think any further.
"Haha… Little Furi has gotten married and become so unfamiliar even to her teacher!"
Emma grasped Furi's hand and began offering detailed advice: "You don't need to worry about anything else. The most important thing now is to bear the Farell family bloodline… That boy Leilin has quite a few secrets, but his Komoin Giant Serpent bloodline is the finest I've ever seen! No — it's the finest among all Komoin Giant Serpent warlocks! If such a bloodline doesn't spread, it would truly be a waste…"
"Teacher, what are you saying?" Furi said with a bashful rebuke, a lovely flush rising on both cheeks, though she had finally set aside a little of her worry.
…
Boom! The Giant Serpent sliced through the clouds, shrugged off the hurricane-force winds, and broke straight through the troposphere into the higher sky.
Through the windows, blazing sunlight streamed down. Below lay an endless expanse of white cloud sea, stretching to the horizon in breathtaking beauty.
This private airship was extremely fast, though in such a scene it was impossible to tell — everything seemed to stand still.
After setting the autopilot, Leilin sat alone on the sofa, holding a glass of red wine, gazing at the scenery through the windows. His mind drifted slightly.
"I really haven't treated Furi fairly this time!" After a long while, he let out a deep sigh.
Ever since returning from the Lava World, Leilin had been overwhelmingly busy — reclaiming lost territory, reaching out to other bloodline organizations — and had inadvertently left Furi feeling neglected.
And now, he was setting off alone, heading to the Sky City by himself.
Although Furi had been strong and hadn't shown it, Leilin could still sense her worry during the farewell.
But regardless, Leilin absolutely would not bring her along.
This was a dangerous expedition, not a leisurely trip. If he were alone, it would be easier to escape. Bringing another person along would make things far more troublesome.
"I'll make it up to her properly later!" Having thought that through, Leilin turned his attention to other matters.
"Chip! How long until we reach Sky City?"
"Ding! Based on the Giant Serpent's speed, estimated time of arrival at Sky City: 45 days, 13 hours, 46 minutes, and 19 seconds!" the Chip reported faithfully.
"That really is quite far. If I didn't have my own airship, it would have been even more troublesome!"
Leilin couldn't help but feel a bit exasperated. Even at his airship's speed, reaching Sky City would take this long — the sheer vastness of the Central Continent was beyond imagination.
"This time is perfect for meditation! And the Fire Feather Technique still needs some refinements in its integration with the Eye of Komoin…"
Leilin pondered, his eyes flickering with the Chip's blue computational glow. Enormous quantities of letters, symbols, and other data — more complex than the data of an entire world — were being calculated, deduced, and refined through the Chip, forming a wondrous numerical cycle…

Inside the depths of a
This was a Wizard Tower built by a fifth-rank Radiant Moon Wizard, filled with black thunder and lightning. A particularly unsettling dark aura was intensifying and lingering, causing even the Morning Star walking through the corridor to break into a cold sweat.
"My Lord, the feeling here is even more terrifying than before…"
This Morning Star was none other than one of the few remaining Morning Star Wizards of Jupiter's Thunder.
After the Sacred Dawn Day incident, followed by the invasion led by
And at such a critical moment, the leader of Jupiter's Thunder — the fifth-rank Radiant Moon Grand Wizard Jersia — had suddenly announced a period of secluded cultivation, sparking considerable resentment and confusion. Of course, this was only in their hearts. Anyone bold enough to openly defy Jersia would have had their bones turned to ash centuries ago.
After passing through the corridor, the Morning Star Wizard arrived before a massive bronze door, and here, the aura of unease reached its peak.
"My Lord!
"Enter!" Jersia's voice came through — the familiar timbre, yet carrying an indescribable quality.
Loki's mind raced, but on the surface he bowed with utmost respect and stepped into the room.
Behind the great bronze doors was an enormous sealed chamber. The walls were covered with binding and summoning runes, along with energy-sealing spell patterns and the like.
At the center of the chamber was a vast pool, within which black currents of air clashed and churned, producing gurgling sounds.
Jersia stood beside the pool wearing a black-and-gold Wizard Robe, his attention wholly absorbed by the swirling black currents.
"My Lord!" Loki bowed, though he couldn't help but glance curiously at the pool — the source of that unsettling aura was right there!
But before Jersia, he wouldn't dare ask a single question, nor did he have the courage to probe with his Soul Power.
"What is it? You activated emergency communications to reach me?" Jersia stood with his hands clasped behind his back, but Loki knew this was a sign that his Lord was already growing angry. If his answer didn't satisfy him, the consequences would be unpleasant…
"Previously, my Lord ordered me to monitor the Ouroboros Ring, particularly regarding intelligence on the Farell warlock. I now have findings to report!"
Jersia was indeed very interested in matters concerning Leilin. He finally turned his head, fixing Loki with his gaze: "Speak!"
"I have learned that yesterday, the Ouroboros Ring's Leilin departed from the Phosphorescent Swamp. His destination is very likely Sky City!"
Loki quickly relayed the intelligence he had gathered, but to his surprise, Jersia merely listened in silence without any particular reaction.
"My Lord?!" Loki looked up tentatively and saw Jersia's expression frozen, almost vacant. Even more disturbingly, several twisted ethereal spirits seemed to be drifting around him — pale, distorted hands continuously clutching and pulling at Jersia's collar.
Loki's heart sank violently, but in the next instant, there was Jersia as normal, as if everything before had been an illusion.
This discovery plunged him into extreme terror.
"My Lord! Shall I—" Loki began tentatively.
"I am conducting extremely important spirit experiments. Leilin's affairs will be handled by me personally. You are dismissed from this matter!"
Jersia responded coldly.
"As you command!" Loki bowed again and left. But once he was outside the Wizard Tower, he let out a long, shuddering breath, his back drenched in cold sweat.
The fact that their Lord — who had always been so enthusiastic about destroying the Ouroboros Ring — had become like this, combined with what he had just witnessed, filled Loki with dread.
"That just now… could it have been…"
