The Master Alchemist is a genius pharmacist and healer who, in the future timeline, ranked 5th among hunters and led the Alchemist Guild, a guild of doctors and pharmacists. Though meek and cautious by nature, she becomes sharp and blunt when fully absorbed in her work, and never lets her brilliance override her kindness.
When Kim Gong-ja first meets her, her shop is on the verge of bankruptcy—her reputation ruined by complaints and her equipment seized. Gong-ja orders from her despite the rumors, and though the Sword Emperor initially dismisses her as unskilled, he later admits she is genuinely gifted at crafting elixirs. Her righteous character—rushing to control a fire and help people before anyone else—convinces Gong-ja to trust her.
Her skills include "Moving Hospital," which can perform most hospital procedures with only a tiny chance of misdiagnosis, and "Life Diagnosis," revealing a patient's information down to the genetic level. She openly dislikes Yoo Soo-Ha and refuses, on principle, to manufacture drugs.
