Chu Yuan

Chu Yuan is the former patriarch of the Chu Family of the Azure Province, biological father of Chu Guyu and adoptive father of Chu Feng. It was his protection that kept the young Chu Feng from being cast out of the family, and the boy was deeply grateful, vowing to become Chu Yuan's pride and win back the family's honor.
Early in the story Chu Yuan and the whole Chu Family are massacred on the orders of Gong Luyun. The tragedy is one of the first great wounds in Chu Feng's life and a driving force behind his pursuit of strength.
Much later, returning from the Holy Land of Martialism far stronger, Chu Feng fulfills a long-held vow: using a spirit formation obtained from his birth father, he resurrects his adoptive family, Chu Yuan among them.
