The five-person party that had accosted me in front of the guild reception desk earlier had raised an objection.
Seriously, what a lame party name.
Are they hitting on me?
"If she soloed a Ruby Dragon, she's not just Gold—she's already got the strength of a top-tier Orichalcum! Know your place, or you'll get yourselves killed!"
"Sub-Master, this is nuts! I don't care if you have the authority to certify up to Gold!"

As he said this, Enrique walked over to me and spoke in a low voice.

Otherwise it would be over in an instant and they wouldn't get to see my strength.

I had been thinking about taking an arm or a leg, but these guys had probably destroyed plenty of women in their time, so I figured they deserved the same treatment.
And then, the five of them charged.
Their weapons were a longsword, a spear, a bow, magic, and a rod.
They shifted their timing ever so slightly to make their attacks harder to dodge—a level of coordination befitting Gold, at least.
That said, no problem.
I dodged with big, exaggerated movements for the spectators to follow.
I tried to bait them into hitting each other, but they'd spaced their attack lines properly, so that didn't work.
I'd let them have their opening move, so now it was my turn.
