The spirit steam locomotive (seirei jouki kikansha) is an invention of the reincarnated prince Varis, a steam locomotive that runs on spirit energy. It became one of the fruits of the infrastructure reforms Varis carried out drawing on the knowledge of his past life as a civil servant.
