The title of Sage was an honor that bestowed exclusively upon scholars. Any who achieved outstanding accomplishments in academic fields and gained recognition from the Sage Assembly could receive it.

Once a scholar was certified by Sky City and awarded the title of Sage, it not only came with tremendous prestige but also represented enormous benefits! They could receive a two-tier physical constitution boost from the Secret Energy Scepter, and even gain the opportunity to join Sky City. Even without joining, with the protection of the Sky Throne, one could move freely across the entire Central Continent.

Therefore, whether for reputation or profit, or simply to exchange knowledge and learn from one another, a large number of scholarly Wizards came here every year, giving rise to Sky City's reputation as the "Cradle of Truth."

When it came to genuinely competing in academic attainment, Leilin Farell had the Chip at his disposal and wasn't particularly worried.

Even if he couldn't pass, as long as he could move the Sky Throne, undergoing the baptism of the Secret Energy Scepter wouldn't be a problem.

Leilin was brimming with confidence this time. The gift he had prepared would surely move the Sixth-level Dawn Sun Wizard!

A coordinate to another world! That was more than enough. After all, he had never promised that he wouldn't sell the Lava World's coordinates to a third party.

And its appeal would be more than enough for the Sky Throne to make an exception.

He just wondered whether Wade and Jesya would spit blood when they found out about this.

After obtaining other-world coordinates, which Wizard didn't keep them secret to the death? Only a freak like Leilin would take them out and hand them around as gifts.

"Bofiel!" The visitor announced his name while sizing up Leilin.

Young! That was the first impression Leilin gave Bofiel. Whether it was his handsome features or the vibrant life energy rippling about him, everything gave off an extremely youthful feel.

"According to rumor, this Lord Leilin is less than three hundred years old? And he has already advanced to Morning Star and built up such a fearsome reputation!" Bofiel looked at this genius Warlock.

The other party wore a platinum-white Wizard's robe and gold-threaded gloves, his eyes brimming with gentle warmth, carrying a sunny aura. The crescent moon pendant on his ear, paired with his handsome features, made him exactly the sort of man who could send countless young girls—and even female Wizards—into screaming frenzies.

"So it's Lord Bofiel!"

Leilin looked at the fellow who resembled an angel before him, feeling somewhat exasperated by the other's appearance. However, the Morning Star radiation emanating from Bofiel was no fake.

The power wielded by the Sky Throne extended across the entire continent. Even Fifth-level Radiant Moon Wizards were numerous, and the Morning Stars under his command were even more so. This Bofiel was evidently one of them.

After advancing to official Wizard, one could undergo various modifications to one's body. And at the Morning Star stage, nearly every Wizard had all sorts of peculiar things about them. Leilin currently couldn't tell whether the luminous wings on Bofiel were a result of his bloodline or some kind of Wizard spell, unless he could get his hands on the fellow for some experiments.

"Might I ask whether you've come representing the Ouroboros Ring? Is there some important matter?"

After exchanging pleasantries, Bofiel still asked the question that had been buried in his heart for a long time. He had heard a great deal about the Ouroboros Ring's recent activities and its conflict with the Thunder of Jupiter, and he simply didn't believe that Leilin had come traveling at such a critical time without some ulterior motive.

"Yes! I've heard that Sky City's Sage Assessment is about to begin. I've come bearing a faith in Truth!"

Leilin made absolutely no effort to conceal his purpose.

"The Sage Assessment?!" Bofiel was somewhat stunned. He had never imagined that Leilin would be interested in something like this.

The title of Sage only served to make things more convenient for scholars traveling the continent, but Leilin was already a Morning Star! What organization would dare not show him respect?

As for those benefits and honors, to a Morning Star Wizard they were as weightless as spider silk. Perhaps the only thing that could truly attract a Morning Star's interest was the baptism of the Secret Energy Scepter.

A single baptism that increased physical constitution by nearly twenty points. That still held tremendous appeal for many Morning Stars.

"The Sage Assessment is an open selection held for Wizards across the entire Central Continent. Might I have the qualification to participate?" Leilin asked with a smile.

"Of course! With Lord Leilin's presence, this assessment will surely be all the more spectacular!" Bofiel answered without hesitation.

The Sage Assessment's reputation had long since spread far and wide, precisely because of its openness and fairness regardless of faction or status. That was how it had earned the recognition of Wizards across the Central Continent, and how Sky City had become a holy land for Wizards, drawing in fresh blood. Bofiel would have to be a fool to refuse.

"Heh heh... In that case, please follow me to the villa we've prepared especially for you. You can organize the papers and experiments you wish to present and wait for the assessment to begin!"

Bofiel invited him warmly. Morning Stars who came for the Sage Assessment were few in total, but there were always a handful. Sky City had long since established its own set of protocols for handling them.

Generally speaking, as long as visiting Wizards didn't break any laws or violate any taboos, the policy was to let them be and ensure they were warmly received.

"Thank you then!" Leilin did not refuse Bofiel's invitation.

No matter where he went, there would be surveillance of some kind, so he might as well stay at the designated location. The treatment would surely be better.

...

"My Lord!" A maid in a pristine silk robe held towels and other items respectfully, standing to the side and awaiting Leilin's summons.

"The environment here really is quite nice!" Leilin wore a loose white robe, half-reclining on a chair carved from jade, with delicacies and fine wine within easy reach.

He was currently inside a massive white villa. The entire building seemed to be constructed from white marble, exuding an air of nobility and elegance. A three-tiered fountain stood inside the villa right beside Leilin, its fragrant waters continuously spurting upward.

Outside, there were abundant flower beds and lawns. The villa occupied an enormous footprint—in Sky City, where every inch of land was worth its weight in gold, this was nothing short of extraordinary.

Of course, once something involved a Morning Star, no amount of privileges or special treatment seemed quite natural.

After escorting him here and instructing the staff to attend to him well, Bofiel immediately departed in a hurry, presumably to report to his superiors.

The hierarchy of the Wizard world was deeply ingrained. Even though Leilin had demonstrated formidable strength and terrifying talent, the one sent to receive him was only a Morning Star.

The true rulers of Sky City—the Sky Throne and the other Radiant Moon Wizards—remained hidden behind the scenes.

"You're one of the Feathered?" Leilin asked, looking at the white-feathered wings on the maid's back.

"Yes, My Lord!" The maid was tall, with a slender yet graceful figure, and her thighs formed a perfect proportion with her body, displaying flowing curves.

The Feathered were a type of winged race. Their clansmen possessed an extraordinary sensitivity to light-element energy particles. If they practiced advanced Meditation Methods of the Light system, they often achieved remarkable results.

On this particular Feathered woman, Leilin could see traces of a Meditation Method in operation—at roughly the third layer.

Of course, once someone reached Bofiel's level, Leilin could no longer discern the other's bloodline or specific meditative aura. They were, after all, both at the Morning Star stage.

"What's your name?" Leilin took the towel she offered and wiped his hands, asking with some curiosity.

"Yuluo, My Lord!" The Feathered maid answered somewhat nervously. Under Leilin's presence, the pressure was immense—even though Leilin had deliberately restrained his own energy fluctuations.

"Come take a walk with me!"

Now that he had arrived at this place known as the Cradle of Truth, how could Leilin possibly pass up the chance to go outside?

Moreover, he had come as a guest. Bofiel would have to be insane to restrict his freedom or anything of the sort.

Still, since he was on their turf and Bofiel had the Sky Throne backing him, Leilin decided it was only proper to show some face and bring along a maid.

"Y-Yes, My Lord!" Yuluo bowed her head deeply. As the villa's maid, she naturally understood her duties.

"Let's go!" Leilin stretched lazily and was the first to step outside.

"Do you know where the Great Library is?" That was what interested Leilin most. The data currently stored in his Chip were mostly from the Ouroboros Ring, plus a few things he had gathered during his own travels. Compared to the entirety of the Central Continent, this was merely a drop in the ocean.

Sky City was different! This was not only the Sky Throne's territory but also a holy land of knowledge—the academic center of the entire Central Continent!

How terrifying would the accumulated knowledge here be? And how much would the Chip be enhanced after obtaining it all?

For Wizards, knowledge is power! This was no longer merely a maxim—it had been transformed into truth!

"The Great Library is next to the Sky Plaza! Does My Lord wish to go there?" Yuluo looked up at Leilin's face—so handsome it was almost supernatural—and for some reason felt her cheeks flush. She asked in a low voice.

"Of course! I've long been interested in the largest library on the entire Central Continent!"

There was a note of reverence in Leilin's voice—the longing and devotion of one who sought truth through knowledge!

"Understood! My Lord, please follow me!" Yuluo began leading the way.

Her soft, flowing hair cascaded down, occasionally floating above the feathered wings on her back, emanating a light, ethereal aura.

Leilin touched his nose and followed with a smile.

After leaving the villa district, the dense shadows of tall, narrow buildings immediately cast over them, nearly blocking out the blazing sun overhead. The streets, lined with a type of green plant, were immaculately clean—virtually spotless—and bustling crowds moved back and forth along them, making Leilin feel as though he had returned to his previous life.
