Jin Gon

Jin Gon heads the Hao Gate's Sichuan branch and runs it from a hidden chamber beneath a grand establishment. A pragmatic dealer, he values information by the price it will fetch and keeps his brash deputy Wi Chang in check. It is before him that the first evidence of the Mount Emei massacre is laid out, setting the whole Sichuan storyline in motion.

Jin Gon studies a blood-stained cloth bearing signs of a deliberate massacre in Namreung ravine and weighs which sensational conclusion would sell best. When Wi Chang returns with the incredible news of a healer of heart demons, the incredulous Jin Gon nearly scolds him for insolence, but the weight of the information forces him to take it seriously.
