The Chu Heavenly Clan is Chu Feng's home clan and the Overlord of the Great Chiliocosm Upper Realm, ruling every Ordinary and Lower Realm beneath it. Its rise traces back to the Old Ancestor Chu Yetianhong, who led the clan from the Holy Land of Martialism to power in the Upper Realm.
The clan's juniors are sent to the Hundred Refining Ordinary Realm on missions as a form of tempering, and at age twenty they undergo a test of will on the Nine Levels Heavenly Lightning Steps. Only two, Chu Xuanyuan and Chu Hanxian, ever reached the Ninth Level, while Chu Feng managed to step onto the Tenth.
The clan once deemed Chu Feng worthless over a failed talent test, the very cause of his father's banishment. In time it is Chu Hanxian's lineage that proves strongest in the Holy Light Galaxy, with Chu Feng himself the key to the clan's future greatness.
