Northern Great Expedition

The Northern Great Expedition is a major war of conquest listed in the series glossary and tied to the martial activity of House Quordenze. The former head — Wilk's grandfather — has not retired but personally leads wars of conquest; in letters to the family he reports on successfully conducted operations. It is on one such campaign that Wilk and his grandfather set out from Newnelly.
