Mina

Mina is Varis's mother and queen of Alveria. She rose from commoner origins and was a healer wielding holy magic, as well as King Ars's battle companion. It was for her that Ars, in his youth, broke off his earlier engagement to Laura.

Because of that broken-engagement history, Mina long kept to the background, trying not to draw attention. It was she who passed to Reina the silver tiara—an heirloom of the queens of Alveria.

In the finale Mina came to terms with her past and grew close to Reina, forming a warm relationship 'like mother and daughter'. Together with Ars, who had abdicated the throne, she set off on a tour of the country.
