Emerald Tablet (Faust)

The Emerald Tablet is the tablet of arcane knowledge gained by the Black Alchemist, Faust, during his time as a Ranker within the early days of the Obelisk.

The Emerald Tablet created by the legendary Ranker Faust is said to have been made centuries ago during the early days of the Tower when Players had only begun entering the Obelisk. Faust, one of the earliest and most powerful Rankers in the Tower's history, managed to create the Emerald Tablet using all of his magical knowledge and research combined with the knowledge granted to him after making a deal with an Outer God.

After his death, the Tablet remained hidden and secured inside his laboratory for centuries. Eventually, Faust's old lab was located through the joint efforts of Cheonghwado and Walpurgisnacht, particularly the combined efforts of Viera Dune and Leonte. After bypassing all of the traps and defenses set up by Faust, the Tablet was first acquired by Viera Dune, who translated the entire text and copied the knowledge for herself and her clan Walpurgisnacht, before altering and erasing portions of the Tablet's knowledge and handing it over to Cheonghwado. Leonte, having gained whatever knowledge he could from the stone, then broke the Tablet to stop anyone else from using it before presenting the knowledge it contained to Sword God.
