The Black Serpent, alternatively known as the Vilest of Witchbeasts, is one of the Three Great Witchbeasts created by the Witch of Gluttony, Daphne, and it is currently the only one of the three that is still roaming the world of Re:Zero. It played a secondary antagonistic role in Arc 9.
