Luke Notos Greyrat

Luke is of House Notos Greyrat and, like Rudeus (son of Paul Notos Greyrat), is his cousin. He is one of the two bodyguards who accompanied the exiled Princess Ariel to the Ranoa Magic University, and her loyal knight.

Luke is a handsome young man with light-brown hair and striking features, called the most eligible bachelor in the magic city Sharia. He carries himself gently and courteously.

By the warning of an aged Rudeus from the future, in the original line of fate the Man-God used Luke as a pawn: instilling a «divine revelation» in him, he pushed Ariel through Luke toward a doomed rebellion in Asura, to which Sylphie too would have gone. In the changed line this does not happen.

Luke accompanies Ariel to the capital Ars and fights for her in the decisive showdown with Darius's faction. After the victory and the toppling of the house head Pilemon, Luke becomes head of House Notos; the practical affairs are run by his more capable brother, while Luke and his brother praise Eris and even propose to her. Luke stays by Ariel, working energetically on Asura's future.
