Begaritt & the Search for Zenith
Description
On word from Geese, Rudeus and Elinalise teleport via a hidden Magic Circle to Begaritt, to the city of Rapan, where Paul has gathered a party to storm a labyrinth. In the dungeon's depths they find the lost Zenith, sealed in crystal by a Hydra guardian.
In a deadly battle with the Hydra, Paul shields Rudeus at the cost of his own life. Zenith is saved, but her mind is gone — she recognizes only the faces of loved ones. His father's death is a crushing blow that nearly breaks Rudeus.
