Meiges

Description

As seen after Julius's death, Meiges truly loves and cares deeply for all of his children.

Despite his genuine paternal love, Meiges never truly got to know the personalities and feelings of his sons and daughters.

This is evident in how he was oblivious to the inferiority complex and jealousy of his eldest son toward his three youngest children, and to the more malicious aspects of his youngest daughter.

He is implied to have initially assumed there was no trouble or negative feeling between his children.

He assumed his elder son would not mind being disinherited as heir of the Kingdom in favor of Schlain when Schlain gained the Hero Title, believing that Cylis would want to protect Schlain from being sent to the front lines of the Human-Demon War, without ever consulting or informing Cylis of his plans.
