Tang So-wol

Heir to a clan raised among poisons and hidden weapons. In his previous life Cheon Hwi failed to protect her, and it is that death which drags everything else down with it.

She meets the kidnapping that opens the story with anything but obedience: she argues, bargains, and demands real food instead of grain-avoidance pills. In time the hostage becomes someone who stays at his side by her own choice. She wears the green robes of the Tang Clan, and the address 'young hero' in her mouth is by turns respectful and openly mocking.
