Viola

Viola Rosemary is the eldest daughter of House Rosemary, a marquisate whose head, Albert, serves as chief of the court mages. The Rosemarys are a celebrated line of mages who have produced many gifted spellcasters for the kingdom, and Viola, as heir, has studied magic since childhood and always earned top marks. A blonde girl who wears her hair in a ponytail, she is well aware of her own worth and used to being looked at with calculation and hidden motives.

Viola has resolved to marry only a man who is a stronger mage than herself: she is meant to take a husband into the house and carry on the great Rosemary line. For this reason she and her twin sister Primula came to meet Cedric, the son of her father's subordinate, but she was quickly disappointed in him — talented yet arrogant and self-centered, he was utterly unfit to be her husband. In the forest Cedric foolishly wounded a White Fenrir cub and brought everyone to the brink of death.

When the beast was about to tear the sisters apart, they were saved by Rest, Cedric's illegitimate younger half-brother. Courteous, kind, and overwhelmingly powerful beyond anything she could imagine, he convinced Viola at once that she would never find a better partner for life. She insisted that Rest move into the Rosemary estate, nursed him together with her sister after his duel with the butler, and helped him prepare for the academy's entrance exams. In the end their mother decided to wed both sisters to Rest at once — a turn of events that delighted Viola beyond words.
